Dr. Copen is a specialist in Internal Medicine, with a sub specialty in Nephrology. He is board-certified in nephrology (kidney and blood pressure specialist) and internal medicine (general medical doctor) based in Los Angeles, CA.
A Nephrologist is an Internal Medicine physician with additional training in diseases of the kidney and high blood pressure. This includes the treatment of acute and chronic renal failure, fluid, electrolyte and acid-base disorders, as well as, the provision of dialysis and the care of kidney transplants.
